Purpose and Content

The aim of the course To teach the fundamental properties, biological effects, dose measurement, and radiation protection methods regarding the radiation used in oral and dental health practices.
Course Content Basic concepts of dental radiology, radiation physics, X-ray equipment, digital dental radiography, radiographic techniques, factors affecting image quality, AI-assisted image analysis, dosimetry and dose measurement, biological effects of radiation, radiation protection methods, fetal dose, and legal regulations concerning radiation protection
