Purpose and Content

The aim of the course	To teach the differences between healthy individuals and those with systemic diseases, the fundamental characteristics of systemic diseases, and the principles of patient management for these individuals in dental practice.
Course Content	Concepts of health and disease; basic anatomy and physiology of body systems; diseases of the cardiovascular, respiratory, nervous, endocrine, hematologic, gastrointestinal, excretory, and musculoskeletal systems; infectious diseases; allergic reactions; special conditions; and the management of medical emergencies in dental practice.
