Purpose and Content

The aim of the course To introduce the fundamental principles and registration of dental clinical assistants.
Course Content To introduce the profession, basic professional principles, and the roles of oral diagnosis, surgery, radiology, prosthodontics, and pediatric dentistry.

2What is diagnosis? History, examination types, examination team
3Definition of oral radiology, oral radiography devices and departments
4Principles of oral surgery, preparing the patient for surgery
5Extraction instruments and auxiliary surgical equipment
6General anesthesia in dentistry
7Basic principles of prosthetic treatment
8Removable and fixed prosthetics
9Midterm exam
10Information, follow-up, and education for denture patients
11Basic principles of orthodontics
12Orthodontic models, removable and fixed orthodontic appliances
