Purpose and Content

The aim of the course	To introduce the fundamental principles and registration of dental clinical assistants.
Course Content	To introduce the profession, basic professional principles, and the roles of oral diagnosis, surgery, radiology, prosthodontics, and pediatric dentistry.

Learning Outcomes

Gains competence in the ways of reaching this information by equipping with theoretical and applied information about the field in which he will work.
Gains competence in knowing, mastering and using the medical terminology in the field of health sciences, where he/she will act as an intermediate staff.
Gains competence in accessing technology and using technological tools in relation to the field of health.
Gains competence in effective communication and teamwork by using the theoretical and applied knowledge in the field.
Gains competence in accessing and using information about tools and equipment by following technological developments in his field.

6	General anesthesia in dentistry
7	Basic principles of prosthetic treatment
8	Removable and fixed prosthetics
9	Midterm exam
10	Information, follow-up, and education for denture patients
11	Basic principles of orthodontics
12	Orthodontic models, removable and fixed orthodontic appliances
13	Orthodontic appliance use and hygiene training
