Purpose and Content

The aim of the course	The aim is to ensure that the student safely and effectively performs the duties and responsibilities of a clinical assistant regarding patient reception, clinical preparation, preparation of materials and equipment, infection control, patient-related processes, and current digital clinical practices in a dental clinic.
Course Content	Fields of dentistry; duties, authority, and responsibilities of the clinical assistant; requirements for Oral and Dental Health Centers (ADSM), polyclinics, and private practices; ensuring a safe working environment; sterilization and disinfection procedures; dental terminology and morphology; identification of instruments and materials used in clinical practice; radiographic procedures; responsibilities regarding patient reception and follow-up; assessment of patients and healthy individuals; measurement and evaluation of vital signs; digital clinical workflows; and applications of digital technologies and artificial intelligence in the field of oral and dental health.
