​Istanbul Aydın University Faculty of Communication supports the professional development of its graduates in line with the principle of “Lifelong Learning.” At the core of our career support mechanisms is the On-the-Job Training (Internship) system, which enables students to establish strong connections with the industry before graduation. Through this system, our students gain hands-on experience in national and international media organizations thanks to the faculty’s extensive stakeholder network, thereby increasing their employment opportunities after graduation. Our communication with graduates is maintained interactively through the IAU Alumni Association and department-specific social media groups and WhatsApp application. With events such as Career Days and Industry Meetings organized by the faculty, our graduates are given the opportunity to come together with industry leaders. In addition, Graduate–Student Meetings held within the faculty facilitate the transfer of experience, while graduates’ career journeys are continuously supported through certificate programs and discounts on postgraduate education offered specifically for alumni.
