Istanbul Aydın University Faculty of Communication continues to certify its academic programs according to national standards in line with the principles of sustainable quality and continuous improvement in education. Within this scope, our faculty's success has been officially registered following the self-assessment report reviews and site visits conducted by ILEDAK (Communication Education Evaluation Accreditation Board).

Our Television Journalism and Programming, Radio, Television and Cinema, Journalism, and Advertising departments, which were previously granted a two-year accreditation, have successfully extended their accreditation period to five years based on interim evaluations. These departments have once again proven their educational quality at an academic level by receiving the ILAD Accreditation Certificate, which is valid until April 7, 2026.

In accordance with the principle of continuity in quality processes, our departments of Journalism, Radio, Television and Cinema, Television Journalism and Programming, and New Media and Communication have submitted their applications for accreditation renewal. Consequently, these departments underwent an ILEDAK audit on December 15, 2025, and are currently awaiting the final evaluation result from the board.

Furthermore, our Public Relations and Publicity department has successfully met the quality standards and has been awarded the accreditation certificate by ILAD. The accreditation certificate, documenting the department's competence, was presented to the faculty management by the President of ILAD, Prof. Dr. Aysel Aziz, on October 12, 2025.
