Purpose and Content

The aim of the course	The course of written expression is thought as a preliminary preparation to the written translation.Its objective is to prepare the students to the written translation.
Course Content	The course of written expression is thought as a preliminary preparation to the written translation.Explanatory information is given and the issue is discussed with examples of the text to provide a student to perceive different use of environment of written communication types and to raise the consciousness and sensitivity about different language uses and presentation elements related to the environment and goal that are the point in species of written expression texts.The students are expected to compose different kinds of written expression texts,to determine the means by which their texts will reach to the receivers.

Learning Outcomes

They get information about the countries in which Spanish is spoken.
They get information about the other languages by which Spanish is influenced by means of its origin, grammar and word.
They are familiar with Spanish culture and literature besides their Spanish knowledge.

They know the companies where they can use the language they have learnt where they can work and the jobs they can do.
Gets an awareness of the concept, the facts and the the principles in the fields where the spanish is used.
They can easily communicate with a person in any country where Spanish is spoken and where the accent is different.
They get detailed technical information about many-sided text translation from Spanish to Turkish and from Turkish to Spanish.
Our graduates can study for main translation technics concerning bidirectional translation between Spanish and Turkish and reproduce different texts such as;a poem,story,literary criticism with bidirectional translation exercises.
They can work as a Spanish teacher under the name of senior instructor in public and private schools.
They can work as an interpreter in translation agencies and firms giving translatorship service.
They can work at several fields such as;tourism,foreign trade,banking,mass media and publishing.
Reproduce several texts such as poetry, short story and the critics.
They can think creatively,separately and critically.
They are ready to work with open minded people from different cultures and groups.
They can talk and make a presentation in front of a community

2	The relations between culture and language.(the definition of culture,the relation between language and culture;cultural extents of language and literary texts)
3	Written language and its properties,External structures and rules in written expression.
4	Orthographic rules and punctuations.
5	In a writing, a plan,theme,point of view,auxiliary ideas,paragraph writing
6	The concept of composition,the rules and plans of composition writing
7	The frame of composition,theme,paragraph review in selected writings
8	Studies on the correction of composition,general anbiguity.
9	Thinking and expressing what is thought
10	Several types of writing(curriculum vitae,petition,report,announcement,bibliography,rescript,official writings,scientific writings,articles etc.)
11	Studies on introduction,development and conclusion parts of the articles
12	Study of writing an article.
13	Methods and technics of note taking and summarizing.
14	Methods and technics of note taking and summarizing-continuation course.
