Purpose and Content

The aim of the course 1. Understanding and translating scientific and technical texts – The ability to read and understand articles, books, and documents related to electronic and biomedical engineering. 2. Professional communication and writing skills – Developing written and oral communication skills with academics, researchers, and international experts. 3. Accessing up-to-date and reliable resources – Examining and using the latest scientific findings, standards, and international guidelines. 4. Expanding business and academic opportunities – Participating in conferences, preparing for international exams, and collaborating on research and industrial projects.
Course Content 1. Specialized terminology and vocabulary – Teaching commonly used words and terms in electronic and biomedical engineering. 2. Understanding scientific and technical texts – Reading and analyzing engineering articles, books, and technical documents. 3. Professional writing and report preparation – Learning the rules of writing technical emails, scientific reports, and academic documents. 4. Listening and speaking skills – Practice understanding lectures in academic and industrial settings, following scientific videos, and participating in professional dialogue.
