Purpose and Content

The aim of the course Understand the general definitions about Alternating Current, understand the behavior and purpose of circuit elements in AC with serial, parallel and mixed connections, apply the basic analysis methods and theorems to A.A. circuits.
Course Content Basic Concepts: Sinusoidal signals, RLC components, series RL, series RC circuits, parallel RL, parallel RC circuits, series/parallel RLC circuits, power in AC circuits: active, reactive and apparent power, power factor, complex numbers and their applications in AC circuits.
