Important Dates

2025 KA131 Erasmus+ Student Mobility Additional Placement Results

Dear Erasmus+ Coordinators and Students,

Following the evaluations conducted by the Turkish National Agency, the Istanbul Aydın University Erasmus+  Office, and the School of Foreign Languages, the review process for the March 2026 2025 KA131 Erasmus+ Foreign Language Proficiency Exam has been completed. Candidates who qualified to take the additional speaking exam have now completed the selection process. Based on the results of the CEFR-standard additional speaking exam, held on Friday, 3 July 2026, at 10:00 AM in Classroom 304, N Block, IAU Florya Campus, and the decisions of the evaluation committee, the university placement results are announced below. The results published in the tables are final, but they become official only after students sign the Letter of Commitment.

Status Definitions: HİBESİZ / ZERO-GRANTED = Selected for Erasmus mobility without Erasmus funding.   KAZANAMADI / NOT ELIGIBLE = Not selected / did not qualify.

Important Information

• Candidates who informed the university by 1 July 2026, 5:00 PM that they would not attend the speaking exam ("I will not participate") did not receive any point deduction.
• Candidates who neither responded nor attended the exam by the deadline were considered to have officially withdrawn, and their status was recorded as "Cancelled by Student Choice."
• Candidates who passed the additional speaking exam and appear on the placement list must sign the Letter of Commitment by Wednesday, 22 July 2026, 4:00 PM in order to keep their Erasmus place.

Letter of Commitment

Students may either:

• Complete and sign it electronically and email it to [email protected]

OR

• Visit the Erasmus Office (J Block, 2nd Floor) and sign it in person by 22 July 2026, 4:00 PM.

Students who fail to sign the commitment by the deadline will lose their mobility rights.

Important Note: International students must submit a copy of their Turkish Residence Permit together with the Erasmus+ Letter of Commitment.

About Erasmus+ Grants

• Taking the additional exam or passing the language threshold does not guarantee Erasmus+ funding.
• Successful candidates are initially accepted under the Zero-Grant (Unfunded) status.
• If Istanbul Aydın University receives additional Erasmus funding later, grants will be distributed fairly among all departments according to Turkish National Agency rules and students' ranking scores.

Appeals: The deadline to appeal the language exam results is: 22 July 2026, 4:00 PM Appeals must be submitted via petition by email to [email protected]

Appeal results will be published on: erasmus.aydin.edu.tr (Announcements section) Students who submitted appeals will also receive notification by email. If an appeal changes a student's exam result from unsuccessful to successful, additional time will be granted to sign the Letter of Commitment.

Orientation Meeting

An online Orientation Program will be held for all students nominated for Erasmus+ mobility. Date: Friday, 24 July 2026 Program details will be emailed to students who have signed the Letter of Commitment. Attendance is mandatory. Students should also monitor the announcements on erasmus.aydin.edu.tr for the meeting time and Teams link. Students who fail to attend the orientation will receive a –5 point deduction in their next Erasmus+ application, in accordance with the Erasmus+ 2025 KA131 Handbook.

Application to Partner Universities

Students participating in study mobility must regularly check the websites of their assigned partner universities for application deadlines and required documents. Faculty/Department Erasmus Coordinators are expected to assist students participating in the spring semester with their partner university applications. Both students and coordinators are responsible for ensuring that partner university deadlines are not missed.

Course Matching and University Change

If students cannot complete an appropriate course matching totaling 30 ECTS credits at their assigned university, they may request a change of university. The Erasmus Office will provide information about suitable alternatives.

Final Confirmation of Mobility

Students may only participate in Erasmus mobility after they have:

• received an official Acceptance Letter from the partner university;
• had their Learning Agreement (course matching) approved by both universities;
• completed the visa process.

Students wishing to participate in Erasmus+ BIP/Blended Internship or Long-Term Internship Mobility (2 months or longer) during the 2026–2027 academic year must send the following by 15 October 2026 via email to the IAU Erasmus Office:

• Internship Acceptance Letter
• Approved Erasmus+ Internship Agreement

Online Language Support (OLS)

All students selected under the 2025 KA131 Erasmus+ Programme, whether Funded or Zero-Granted must take the European Commission Online Language Placement Test (OLS) after completing their visa procedures.

Withdrawal Procedure

Study Mobility

Students selected for the spring semester who decide to withdraw must send a withdrawal petition to: [email protected] by 15 September 2026, 4:00 PM.

Students who withdraw by the deadline will not receive the usual –10 point penalty in future Erasmus applications.

Internship and BIP/Internship Mobility

Students who decide to withdraw must send their withdrawal petition to: [email protected] by 15 September 2026, 4:00 PM.

Students who withdraw before the deadline will likewise avoid the –10 point deduction in future Erasmus applications.
