The agenda of the meeting was voted upon. The meeting quorum was met, and discussions on the agenda commenced.

  1. Discussion on changing the spring semester midterm exam dates in the 2025-2026 Academic Year Academic Calendar of our University.
  2. Discussion on the amendments to be made in our University's Graduate Education Institute "Graduate Education – Training and Examination Regulation".
  3. Discussion on our University's "Academic, Social and Cultural Mentoring Practices Directive".
  4. Discussion on our University's "Applied Training Commission Working Procedures and Principles".
  5. Discussion on the "Directive on the Implementation of Online Graduate Courses, Seminar Presentations, Exams, Term Projects, Master's Thesis Defenses, Doctoral Qualification and Doctoral Thesis Monitoring Committee" in our University's Graduate Education Institute.
  6. Incoming documents and proposals.


DECISIONS

  1. The matter of changing the spring semester midterm exam dates in the 2025-2026 Academic Year Academic Calendar of our University was discussed. Following the discussion, it was unanimously decided by the senate decision dated 04.03.2026 and numbered 2026/03 to hold the spring semester midterm exams, approved to be held between 23.03.2026 and 29.03.2026, between 30.03.2026 and 05.04.2026, and similarly to hold the distance education midterm exams between 04.04.2026 and 05.04.2026, and to refer the matter to the Rector's Office for necessary action.
  2. The amendments to be made in our University's Graduate Education Institute "Graduate Education – Training and Examination Regulation" were discussed. Following the discussion, it was unanimously decided to amend the "Graduate Education – Training and Examination Regulation" as presented in Annex-1, and to refer the matter to the Rector's Office for necessary action.
  3. Our University's "Academic, Social and Cultural Mentoring Practices Directive" was discussed. Following the discussion, it was unanimously decided to adopt the "Academic, Social and Cultural Mentoring Practices Directive" as presented in Annex-2, and to refer the matter to the Rector's Office for necessary action.
  4. Our University's "Applied Training Commission Working Procedures and Principles" was discussed. Following the discussion, it was unanimously decided to adopt the "Applied Training Commission Working Procedures and Principles" as presented in Annex-3, and to refer the matter to the Rector's Office for necessary action.
  5. The "Directive on the Implementation of Online Graduate Courses, Seminar Presentations, Exams, Term Projects, Master's Thesis Defenses, Doctoral Qualification and Doctoral Thesis Monitoring Committee" in our University's Graduate Education Institute was discussed. Following the discussion, it was unanimously decided to amend the "Directive on the Implementation of Online Graduate Courses, Seminar Presentations, Exams, Term Projects, Master's Thesis Defenses, Doctoral Qualification and Doctoral Thesis Monitoring Committee" in our University's Graduate Education Institute as presented in Annex-4, and to refer the matter to the Rector's Office for necessary action.
