AGENDA
The agenda of the meeting was voted upon. The meeting quorum was met, and discussions on the agenda commenced.
- Discussion on electing a new member to the vacant Interuniversity Board membership due to the resignation of Prof. Dr. Ali SINAĞ, who served as a member of the Interuniversity Board within our University.
- Discussion on determining the passing grade for the course "SOS 304 Sociology Project I" in the curriculum of the Sociology Department, Faculty of Arts and Sciences, as "DD" and taking the course "SOS 403 Sociology Project II" under this condition.
- Discussion on the adoption of the "Regulation Amending the Istanbul Aydın University Associate and Undergraduate Degree Education – Training and Examination Regulation".
- Discussion on determining our University's "Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences International Student Advisory Board Directive".
- Discussion on determining our University's "Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences Instructor Classroom Management Assessment Implementation Principles".
- Discussion on determining the student quotas for the programs within our University's Graduate Education Institute that will accept students for the first time in the Fall Semester of the 2025-2026 Academic Year.

DECISIONS
1. The matter of electing a new member to the vacant Interuniversity Board membership due to the resignation of Prof. Dr. Ali SINAĞ, who served as a member of the Interuniversity Board within our University, was discussed. Following the discussion, it was unanimously decided to elect Prof. Dr. Hamide ERTEPINAR, faculty member of the Department of Preschool Teaching, Faculty of Education, as a member of the Interuniversity Board to fill the vacancy left by Prof. Dr. Ali SINAĞ, who served as a "Professor Representative" representing our University in the Interuniversity Board.
2. The matter of determining the passing grade for the course "SOS 304 Sociology Project I" in the curriculum of the Sociology Department, Faculty of Arts and Sciences, as "DD" and taking the course "SOS 403 Sociology Project II" under this condition was discussed. Following the discussion, it was decided that it is appropriate to determine the passing grade for the course "SOS 304 Sociology Project I" as "DD" and to take the course "SOS 403 Sociology Project II" under this condition, and to refer the matter to the Rector's Office for necessary action.
3. The matter of the adoption of the "Regulation Amending the Istanbul Aydın University Associate and Undergraduate Degree Education – Training and Examination Regulation" was discussed. Following the discussion, it was unanimously decided that it is appropriate to adopt the "Regulation Amending the Istanbul Aydın University Associate and Undergraduate Degree Education – Training and Examination Regulation" as specified below, and to refer the matter to the Rector's Office for necessary action.
ISTANBUL AYDIN UNIVERSITY
REGULATION AMENDING THE ASSOCIATE AND UNDERGRADUATE DEGREE EDUCATION – TRAINING AND EXAMINATION REGULATION
ARTICLE 1- Subparagraph (b) of the eleventh paragraph of Article 22 of the Istanbul Aydın University Associate and Undergraduate Degree Education – Training and Examination Regulation published in the Official Gazette dated 03/07/2023 and numbered 32237 has been amended as follows.
Grades
Article 22 - (11 -b) Students who have taken and passed all compulsory courses but have a cumulative grade point average (CGPA) below 2.00 out of 4.00 and wish to raise their CGPA shall be given the right to take a grade improvement exam for a maximum of two courses with the advisor's approval. However, if the student's CGPA would not reach 2.00 even if they received an AA from this course, this student shall not be granted the right to take a grade improvement exam. These students must complete course registration procedures for the following semester. For a student to take a grade improvement exam, they must apply with a petition specifying the course they will take the exam for, declaring that they wish to use their grade improvement exam right. The grade improvement exam right shall be held within one month following each final exam period, on a date determined by the relevant board of directors.
ARTICLE 2- This Regulation enters into force on the date of its publication.
ARTICLE 3- The provisions of this Regulation are executed by the Rector of Istanbul Aydın University.
4. The matter of determining our University's "Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences International Student Advisory Board Directive" was discussed. Following the discussion, it was unanimously decided that it is appropriate to determine our University's "Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences International Student Advisory Board Directive" as presented in the attached document (ANNEX-01), and to refer the matter to the Rector's Office for necessary action.
5. The matter of determining our University's "Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences Instructor Classroom Management Assessment Implementation Principles" was discussed. Following the discussion, it was unanimously decided that it is appropriate to determine our University's "Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences Classroom Management Assessment Implementation Principles" as presented in the attached document (ANNEX-02), and to refer the matter to the Rector's Office for necessary action.
6. The matter of determining the student quotas for the programs within our University's Graduate Education Institute that will accept students for the first time in the Fall Semester of the 2025-2026 Academic Year was discussed. Following the discussion, it was unanimously decided that it is appropriate to accept the student quotas for the Fall Semester of the 2025-2026 Academic Year for the programs within our University's Graduate Education Institute that will accept students for the first time in the Fall Semester of the 2025-2026 Academic Year as specified below, and to refer the matter to the Rector's Office for necessary action.

7. The matter of adding non-working hours and weekend days to the exam dates of the departments and programs offering education within our University was discussed. Following the discussion, it was unanimously decided that it is appropriate for exams of the departments and programs offering education within our University to be held outside working hours and on weekend days when deemed necessary by the Rectorate, and to refer the matter to the Rector's Office for necessary action.
