The agenda of the meeting was voted upon. The meeting quorum was met, and discussions on the agenda commenced.

  1. Discussion on determining our University's 2026-2027 Academic Year "YKS Quotas".
  2. Discussion on determining our University's 2026-2027 Academic Year "International Student Admission Quotas (YÖS)".
  3. Discussion on determining our University's 2026-2027 Academic Year "Vertical Transfer Exam Quotas (DGS)".
  4. Discussion on determining the "Associate and Undergraduate Degree Programs" planned to be opened within our University for the 2026-2027 Academic Year.
  5. Discussion on the principles regarding the determination of scholarship conditions for students enrolled in doctoral programs at our University's Graduate Education Institute.
  6. Discussion on amending our University's "Istanbul Aydın University 2025-2026 Academic Year Associate and Undergraduate Academic Calendar".
  7. Discussion on our University's "Graduate Education Institute Integrated Master's Program Implementation Principles".
  8. Discussion on the matter of changing the common course code COM to CMS in the 8-semester course plan of the "Radio, Television and Cinema (English)" department opened in the 2025-2026 academic year at our University's Faculty of Communication.
  9. Discussion on the re-determination of the members of our University's Scientific Research Projects Commission.
  10. Discussion on the matter of online courses to be offered in the Russian Translation and Interpreting and English Translation and Interpreting Departments of our University's Faculty of Arts and Sciences.
  11. Discussion on updating the Doctoral Program language proficiency conditions in our University's "International Student Application and Admission Registration Directive" for Graduate Programs.
  12. Determination of Double Major quotas for the spring semester of the 2025-2026 academic year for associate and undergraduate degree programs in which education is offered at our University.

DECISIONS

1.    The matter of determining our University's 2026-2027 Academic Year "YKS Quotas" was discussed. Following the discussion, it was unanimously decided that it is appropriate to accept our University's 2026-2027 Academic Year "YKS Quotas" as presented in the table in Annex-1, and to refer the matter to the Rector's Office for necessary action.

2.    The matter of determining our University's 2026-2027 Academic Year "International Student Admission Quotas (YÖS)" was discussed. Following the discussion, it was unanimously decided that it is appropriate to accept our University's 2026-2027 Academic Year "International Student Admission Quotas (YÖS)" as presented in the table in Annex-2, and to refer the matter to the Rector's Office for necessary action.

3.    The matter of determining our University's 2026-2027 Academic Year "Vertical Transfer Exam Quotas (DGS)" was discussed. Following the discussion, it was unanimously decided that it is appropriate to accept our University's 2026-2027 Academic Year "Vertical Transfer Exam Quotas (DGS)" as presented in the table in Annex-3, and to refer the matter to the Rector's Office for necessary action.

4.    The matter of determining the "Associate and Undergraduate Degree Programs" planned to be opened within our University for the 2026-2027 Academic Year was discussed. Following the discussion, it was unanimously decided to determine the "Associate and Undergraduate Degree Programs" planned to be opened within our University for the 2026-2027 Academic Year as presented in the table below, and to refer the matter to the Rector's Office for necessary action.

5.    The "Principles Regarding Doctoral Scholarship Conditions" for students enrolled in doctoral programs at our University's Graduate Education Institute were discussed. Following the discussion, it was unanimously decided that it is appropriate to accept the "Principles Regarding Doctoral Scholarship Conditions" for students enrolled in doctoral programs at our University's Graduate Education Institute as presented in Annex-4, and to refer the matter to the Rector's Office for necessary action.

6.    The matter of amending our University's "Istanbul Aydın University 2025-2026 Academic Year Associate and Undergraduate Academic Calendar" was discussed. Following the discussion, it was unanimously decided that it is appropriate to set the deadline for "Double Major / Minor" applications in our University's Istanbul Aydın University 2024-2025 Academic Year Associate and Undergraduate Academic Calendar as 06.02.2026, and to refer the matter to the Rector's Office for necessary action.

7.    Our University's "Graduate Education Institute Integrated Master's Program Implementation Principles" were discussed. Following the discussion, it was unanimously decided that it is appropriate to accept our University's "Graduate Education Institute Integrated Master's Program Implementation Principles" as presented in Annex-5, and to refer the matter to the Rector's Office for necessary action.

8.    The matter of changing the common course code COM to CMS in the 8-semester course plan of the "Radio, Television and Cinema (English)" department opened in the 2025-2026 academic year at our University's Faculty of Communication was discussed. Following the discussion, it was unanimously decided that it is appropriate to change the common course code COM to CMS in the 8-semester course plan of the "Radio, Television and Cinema (English)" department opened in the 2025-2026 academic year at our University's Faculty of Communication, and to refer the matter to the Rector's Office for necessary action.

9.    The matter of re-determining the "Members of the Scientific Research Projects Commission" of our University was discussed. Following the discussion, it was unanimously decided to change the existing commission and to form the Istanbul Aydın University "Scientific Research Projects Commission" from the following faculty members, and to refer the matter to the Rector's Office for necessary action.

10.  The matter of online courses to be offered in the Russian Translation and Interpreting and English Translation and Interpreting Departments of our University's Faculty of Arts and Sciences was discussed. Following the discussion, it was unanimously decided that it is appropriate to offer the departmental elective courses listed below online/as of the 2025-2026 Academic Year due to low class sizes, and to refer the matter to the Rector's Office for necessary action.

11.  The matter of updating the Doctoral Program language proficiency conditions in our University's "International Student Application and Admission Registration Directive" for Graduate Programs was discussed. Following the discussion, it was unanimously decided to determine the Doctoral Program language proficiency conditions in the "International Student Application and Admission Registration Directive" for Graduate Programs as presented in the table below, and to refer the matter to the Rector's Office for necessary action.

12.                    The matter of determining the Double Major quotas for the spring semester of the 2025-2026 academic year for associate and undergraduate degree programs in which education is offered at our University was discussed. Following the discussion, it was unanimously decided to determine the Double Major quotas for the spring semester of the 2025-2026 academic year for associate and undergraduate degree programs offered at our University, taking into account the condition that they are not less than 20% of the general quota of the relevant program, as specified in the table in Annex-6, and to refer the matter to the Rector's Office for necessary action.
