2. Discussion of opening a course within the scope of the "Delightfull Istanbul Winter School" in the Business Administration (English) Department of our University's Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences.   
3. Discussion of determining the "Istanbul Aydın University Coordination and Monitoring Directive for Application and Research Centers" prepared regarding the Application and Research Centers operating within our University.   
4. Discussion of determining our University's "Trainers' Training Program Directive".   
5. Discussion of determining our University's "Institutional Excellence Coordination Directive".   
6. Discussion of updating our University's "Istanbul Aydın University Quality Policy Text".

DECISIONS

   
1. The issue of determining the "Implementation Principles for the Graduation Project Course of IAU Faculty of Engineering" prepared by our University's Faculty of Engineering was discussed. Following the discussion, it was unanimously decided that the "Implementation Principles for the Graduation Project Course of IAU Faculty of Engineering", as presented in the Annex-1 (EK-1), were suitable for adoption and to submit the matter to the Rectorate for necessary action.   
2. The issue of opening a course within the scope of the "Delightfull Istanbul Winter School" in the Business Administration (English) Department of our University's Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences was discussed. Following the discussion, it was unanimously decided that the course, whose details are provided below, should be opened in the Spring semester of the 2023-2024 Academic Year within the scope of the "Delightfull Istanbul Winter School" in the Business Administration (English) Department of our University's Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, and to submit the matter to the Rectorate for necessary action.    

1. The issue of determining the "Istanbul Aydın University Coordination and Monitoring Directive for Application and Research Centers" prepared regarding the Application and Research Centers operating within our University was discussed. Following the discussion, it was unanimously decided that the "Istanbul Aydın University Coordination and Monitoring Directive for Application and Research Centers", as presented in the Annex-2 (EK-2), was suitable for adoption and to submit the matter to the Rectorate for necessary action.   
2. The issue of determining our University's "Trainers' Training Program Directive" was discussed. Following the discussion, it was unanimously decided that the "Istanbul Aydın University Trainers' Training Program Directive", as presented in the Annex-3 (EK-3), was suitable for adoption and to submit the matter to the Rectorate for necessary action.   
3. The issue of determining our University's "Institutional Excellence Coordination Directive" was discussed. Following the discussion, it was unanimously decided that the "Istanbul Aydın University Institutional Excellence Coordination Directive", as presented in the Annex-4 (EK-4), was suitable for adoption and to submit the matter to the Rectorate for necessary action.   
4. The issue of updating our University's "Istanbul Aydın University Quality Policy Text" was discussed. Following the discussion, it was unanimously decided that the "Istanbul Aydın University Quality Policy Text" should be updated and adopted as stated below, and to submit the matter to the Rectorate for necessary action.

ISTANBUL AYDIN UNIVERSITY QUALITY POLICY TEXT

Istanbul Aydın University adopts a quality assurance approach in all its processes to achieve its strategic goals, incorporating both Compliance with Standards and Fitness for Purpose approaches. In this context, the University is committed to establishing its own quality system in compliance with the Bologna Process Standards (ESG 2015 - European Standards and Guidelines) and European Standards (ENQA - European Standards and Guidelines) determined by the Council of Higher Education Quality (YÖKAK), and the national quality assurance system. Due to the philosophy of continuous improvement and as a result of international collaborations, the University develops its standards in all its processes related to education and training, research and development, community contribution activities prominent on a regional/national scale, and the institutional governance system. The satisfaction and complaints of all stakeholders, especially students, are regularly monitored, solutions are produced within a reasonable timeframe, and practices aimed at increasing satisfaction are developed.

   
1. The issue of updating our University's "Istanbul Aydın University Internationalization Policy Text" was discussed. Following the discussion, it was unanimously decided that the "Istanbul Aydın University Internationalization Policy Text" should be adopted as stated below, and to submit the matter to the Rectorate for necessary action.

   ISTANBUL AYDIN UNIVERSITY INTERNATIONALIZATION POLICY TEXT   

   
1.       Adopting an international perspective and conducting activities in the dimensions of the University's education and training, research, and societal outreach/service,   
2.       Prioritizing the University's visibility and awareness on institutional, national, and international scales,   
3.       Developing academic and scientific collaborations with universities abroad,   
4.       Implementing student and academic staff exchange, short-term education and internship programs, international joint scientific activities in physical or virtual environments, publications, and projects,  
5.       Actively and effectively participating in all mobility programs and collaboration programs,   
6.       Establishing the necessary mechanisms to equip the University's students with global competencies,   
7.       Supporting the University's academic staff in accessing international networks and finding partners for their scientific activities,   
8.       Developing the foreign language proficiencies of the University's academic and administrative personnel and students,   
9.       Ensuring the continuous and sustainable improvement of the University's international activities.   
10. The issue of updating our University's "Istanbul Aydın University Sustainability Policy Text" was discussed. Following the discussion, it was unanimously decided that the "Istanbul Aydın University Sustainability Policy Text" should be adopted as stated below, and to submit the matter to the Rectorate for necessary action.

ISTANBUL AYDIN UNIVERSITY SUSTAINABILITY POLICY TEXT

Disseminating a culture of sustainability,

Creating a research and entrepreneurship ecosystem in the field of sustainability,

Being a university that can produce proactive solutions against climate change,

Being a university that raises individuals who can connect with nature,

Being a university that brings stakeholders together through collaborations on fundamental sustainability goals,

Implementing practices related to energy, water, and waste management.

   
1. The issue of opening a course within the scope of the "Delightfull Istanbul Winter School" in the English Medicine Program of our University's Faculty of Medicine was discussed. Following the discussion, it was unanimously decided that the course, whose details are provided below, should be opened in the Fall semester of the 2023-2024 Academic Year within the scope of the "Delightfull Istanbul Winter School" in the English Medicine Program of our University's Faculty of Medicine, and to submit the matter to the Rectorate for necessary action.
