Purpose and Content

The aim of the course To learn the necessary tests in order to identify the causative microorganisms from the clinical materials coming to the Bacteriology and Mycology laboratory and to determine the antibiotic/antifungal susceptibility status.
Course Content Blood culture, bacterial identification tests, antibiotic susceptibility tests, general characteristics of fungi, opportunistic fungal pathogens, fungal culture
