Our college was established by a decision taken at the general assembly meeting of the Higher Education Council on March 3, 2012, and has started education and training with the programs of Optometry, Orthopedic Orthotics and Prosthetics, Radiotherapy, Medical Imaging Techniques, and Medical Laboratory Techniques within the Health Services Vocational College. Optometry, Orthopedic Orthotics and Prosthetics, Radiotherapy, Medical Imaging Techniques, and Medical Laboratory Techniques. In 2014, the programs of Operating Room Services, Dialysis, Care and Rehabilitation of the Disabled, Electroneurophysiology, Audiometry, Pathology Laboratory Techniques, Perfusion Techniques, and Medical Documentation Techniques were added to our college, and in the 2014–2015 academic year, the Social Services program was added. Currently, our school offers a total of 19 programs and 18 laboratories, where our students complete their two-year associate degree education with intensive theoretical and practical courses using the latest technological equipment.
SHMYO, which started with a laboratory capacity of 1,300 square meters before the 2014–2015 academic year, now has a laboratory capacity of 6,920 square meters and continues to provide education to more than 3,000 active students.
