Purpose and Content

The aim of the course To be closely acquainted with pneumatic systems, which are a technological necessity in many sectors, and to ensure the design, construction and use of the system with theoretical and practical knowledge.
Course Content Fundamental principles of pneumatics, basic rules of pneumatics and pneumatic elements, circuits and industrial applications.

Weekly Course Subjects

1Introduction to pneumatics, basic principles and application areas of pneumatics.
2Comparison of pneumatics with other systems, advantages and disadvantages.
3Properties of air, compressed air theories.
4Compressed air generation, compressor types and structures.
5Processing, storage and distribution of compressed air, air conditioners.
6Pneumatic circuit elements (pneumatic motors, cylinders, valves)
7Pneumatic circuit elements (pneumatic motors, cylinders, valves)
8Pneumatic circuit design and installation of pneumatic control systems.
9Midterm Exam
10Pneumatic circuit drawing.
11Introduction of the pneumatic simulation program (FluidSIM).
12Establishing pneumatic circuits with pneumatic simulation program (FluidSIM).
13Basic pneumatic circuit design, drawing, reading and application.
14Basic pneumatic circuit design, drawing, reading and application.
