The aim of this course is to enable students to learn the technical English terminology used in their professional field and to understand and interpret English texts related to basic circuit components and measuring instruments. Through translation, terminology analysis, and applied activities, students develop technical reading, writing, and communication skills, and gain the competence to use English accurately and effectively in a professional context. |
| Course Content |
This course covers the examination of fundamental technical concepts in electrical and electronic technology in English, the analysis of texts related to circuit components and measuring instruments, and studies on technical terminology translation and term analysis. The topics include numbers, shapes, measurements, structures and components, angles and lines, descriptions of motion, process writing, and technical texts related to digital multimeters and fast diodes. At the end of the semester, students perform a workplace-communication-themed role-play activity as part of the in-class practical application. |
