Our advisors, comprised of faculty members,
provide support to students in finding solutions to all their academic
questions and problems. Advisory services are provided through the university's
UBIS system and within the advisory hours announced on office notice boards, as
well as face-to-face and/or through other communication channels (email, UBIS
communication network, WhatsApp) at any time deemed appropriate by the
advisors. Various pieces of evidence demonstrating the effectiveness and
sustainability of academic advisory services have been presented. WhatsApp and
email correspondence showing student-advisor interaction clearly demonstrates
that advisors provide individual attention to students and offer guidance on
all academic matters. Furthermore, student evaluation survey results regarding
the advisory process show a high level of satisfaction with the advisory
services. In addition, announcements regarding faculty members' office hours
and documents related to the application process are significant indicators
that advisory activities are carried out not only as a mandatory duty but also
with a sense of responsibility and care. All these documents concretely
demonstrate that a student-centered, accessible, and effective advisory culture
has been established in our department.
