Aims & Scope

Purpose

The aim of the Faculty of Applied Sciences is to train individuals who integrate scientific knowledge with application, consider sector needs, think analytically, are innovative, and solution-oriented. The faculty aims to improve students' professional competencies by supporting their theoretical knowledge with practical skills, and to produce graduates equipped to effectively participate in the business world and social life. In this regard, the faculty aims to train human resources who are committed to ethical values, embrace lifelong learning, are entrepreneurial, effectively use technology, and can compete at national and international levels.

 

Scope

The Faculty of Applied Sciences encompasses education, research, application, and community service activities. The programs conducted within the faculty include applied courses designed in collaboration with the sector, project studies, internships, and workplace training applications. The faculty supports students in gaining professional experience by developing collaborations with public and private sector organizations, and provides high-quality and application-oriented education through curricula that follow current developments. It also includes contributing to knowledge production through scientific research and project activities and transforming the acquired knowledge into social benefit.
