Participation in the “If I Were” Workshop on Combating Addictions held on April 4–5, 2022.

On Monday, April 4, 2022, at 11:00 a.m., the workshop began under the chairmanship of Mr. Turan BEDİRHANOĞLU, District Governor of Küçükçekmece. Representing Istanbul Aydın University’s Center for Environment and Human Health, Deputy Director Süreyya Kumru attended the event. Organized under the leadership of the Küçükçekmece District Health Directorate, the workshop brought together all relevant district stakeholders in the fight against addiction, including the Küçükçekmece Municipality, District Police Department, District Ministry of Family, District branch of Yeşilay (Green Crescent), District Directorate of National Education, as well as district universities and schools. Roadmaps were determined for the necessary actions to be taken regarding addiction in the district, and reporting efforts are ongoing.
