Purpose and Content

The aim of the course Modern managerial and social sciences make the use of Maths necessary not only for using necessary computations, but also for enhanced decision making in a dynamic and changing social and economic environment. The course is designed for two semesters.
Course Content n this two semester course, the objective is to make an introduction to maths, by focusing on the college algebra for the first part of the semester, then to give comprehensive idea of usage of math in social sciences; give applicative notion of concepts that are used in economics an management sciences; and later introducing the calculus concepts for transitional formation to the second part of the two semester course. The second semester part of the course will solely be devoted to calculus topics.
