​DEAR STUDENTS,

In our country, surrounded by seas on three sides, yachting and maritime tourism are growing rapidly, and the need for qualified and responsible yacht captains who can safely operate and command private and commercial yachts — prioritizing navigational safety and the protection of life, property and the marine environment — increases with each passing day. As the Yacht Master Program of Istanbul Aydın University, our aim is to equip our students with the knowledge, skills and competencies to meet this need.

Our program offers an education that integrates theoretical knowledge with a strong practical approach and is grounded in national and international standards. Through our navigation laboratory, bridge and GMDSS simulator, training vessel and sea internship opportunities, we prepare our students for the profession fully equipped; and we send our graduates who obtain the required certificates of competency into the future as sought-after professionals, both at home and abroad, holding the Yacht Master (499 GT) qualification. We would be delighted to welcome you among us on this journey, where you will become the seafaring captains of the future.
