To be a program that closely follows scientific and technological developments in maritime education, that provides applied and contemporary training in accordance with national and international standards, and whose graduates in the field of yachting and marine tourism are sought after both at home and abroad — a program recognized as a leader and a model in its field. To train qualified yacht masters who meet the needs of the maritime sector; who possess a strong maritime culture, professional discipline, and ethical values; and who prioritize navigational safety and environmental protection.

DEAR STUDENTS,

In our country, surrounded by seas on three sides, yachting and maritime tourism are growing rapidly, and the need for qualified and responsible yacht captains who can safely operate and command private and commercial yachts — prioritizing navigational safety and the protection of life, property and the marine environment — increases with each passing day. As the Yacht Master Program of Istanbul Aydın University, our aim is to equip our students with the knowledge, skills and competencies to meet this need.
