​At the Istanbul Aydın University Yacht Master Program, students' active participation in decision-making processes is of great importance for the continuous improvement of educational quality. In this context, student representation, feedback mechanisms and channels of participation are operated effectively. Student representatives elected for each class level serve as a communication bridge between the students and the program administration, regularly conveying students' views, suggestions and requests to the program head and to the relevant committees.

In order to obtain feedback from students, course evaluation surveys, program satisfaction surveys, and graduate and external-stakeholder surveys are used. The data obtained are taken into account in improving course content and laboratory/practical training, as well as in developing teaching methods. In addition, students can share their views directly through advising meetings, program meetings, seminars and social activities, as well as via e-mail and the student information system. Through this structure, an educational environment is created that is responsive to the needs of the maritime and yachting sector and that is based on transparency, participation and continuous improvement.
