Purpose and Content

The aim of the course This course aims to teach the safety procedures and eguip students with knowledge and talent to manage safety in aviation.
Course Content The Crew members play an important role in the safety of the passenger aircraft. According to the legislative authorities of Aviation, such as ICAO1, it has set up the standards requiring a minimum of well-trained crew members who have met the safety requirements on every aircraft. They also make sure that the safety responsibility of crew members is their initiative.

Weekly Course Subjects

1General passenger transportation rules
2Classification of passengers with special conditions and their admission to the aircraft, rules for the transportation of live animals and mail. Passengers sitting in front of the emergency exit, the importance of seat allocation for passengers within the framework of weight and balance calculations on the aircraft
3Flight preparation briefing, cabin crew numbering and safety-related duties
4Flight preparation instructions (including ground checks and ASSCL)
5Protection from hindering and damaging risks in terms of the placement of passenger and cabin baggage, service and catering materials, emergency exits and emergency equipment.
6Passenger safety briefing (including visually impaired, hearing impaired and passengers seated in front of emergency exits). Aircraft surface contamination effects and cabin readiness report
7Rules for purchasing fuel when there are passengers on board
8midterm exam
9Cabin crew stations, announcements, sound systems, water systems, IFE, use of electronic devices
10The importance of in-flight communication systems and cockpit cabin communication
11Door opening-closing rules, Door slide positions, cabin warning lights, lighting system and position according to flight phase
12Cabin crew duties in turbulence situations, including securing passengers
13Monitoring the cabin during flight and abnormal situations
14Effective management of flight duration, preparations in line with the cabin readiness report before landing
