Food technology is an important field that directly affects human health and ensures the production of safe, high-quality, and sustainable food, which is one of the basic needs of society. Food technology specialists, who are involved in the processes of processing, preservation, quality control, packaging, and delivery of food to the consumer, play a critical role in improving the quality of life of society. Our graduates can find employment opportunities at national and international levels in food production facilities, quality control laboratories, research and development centers, public institutions, and private sector organizations.

The Food Technology Program, conducted within Istanbul Aydın University, prepares its students for the future with an educational approach based on current scientific developments and sector needs. Our program aims to improve the professional competencies of our students by supporting theoretical knowledge with practical training.

Our educational infrastructure is supported by laboratory facilities for food analysis, quality control, microbiology, and food processing applications. Our students have the opportunity to gain the knowledge and skills needed by the sector through practical application using modern equipment and current technologies. In our program; Education is provided in areas such as food safety, quality management systems, food microbiology, new product development, sustainable production technologies, and innovative food processing methods. Our aim is to prepare our students for the future as sought-after individuals in the sector by training qualified technical personnel who are committed to ethical values, research-oriented, innovative, sensitive to the environment and human health, and possess professional competence.
