The academic and administrative staff working in the Istanbul Aydın University Food Technology Program play a fundamental role in the effective and sustainable conduct of education, research, and application activities.
Academic staff are responsible for conducting theoretical and applied courses within the program, developing course content in line with current developments in the food sector, planning laboratory applications, and carrying out training activities aimed at increasing students' professional competencies. In addition, within the scope of academic advising, students' academic development is monitored, their career planning is guided, and their participation in research, projects, and sectoral applications is encouraged. The academic staff also contributes to the academic and professional development of the program through scientific research, national and international projects, publication activities, and sector collaborations. The laboratory technical staff and administrative staff working within the program also undertake important responsibilities in the effective conduct of education and application processes. Technical staff; The program ensures the safe and efficient use of laboratories used in food analysis, microbiology, quality control, and food processing applications, monitors the maintenance and calibration processes of equipment, and supports applied training activities.
