Students

In the Istanbul Aydın University Food Technology Program, the active participation of students in decision-making processes is of great importance for the continuous improvement of the quality of education. In this context, student representation, feedback mechanisms, and participation channels are effectively operated.

Student representatives selected for each class level within the program act as a communication bridge between students and program management. Student representatives regularly convey students' opinions, suggestions, and requests to the program head and relevant academic units.

Various measurement and evaluation tools are used to obtain feedback from students, such as course evaluation surveys, program satisfaction surveys, and alumni and external stakeholder surveys. The data obtained is taken into consideration in updating the curriculum, improving course content, enhancing laboratory practices, and increasing the effectiveness of teaching methods. Furthermore, students can directly share their opinions about the program through counseling sessions, program meetings, technical trips, seminars, career events, and social activities. Digital platforms, email communication, and the student information system offered within the university are also important channels supporting participation and feedback processes. This structure encourages active student participation in the educational process and creates an educational environment that is sensitive to the needs of the food sector, transparent, participatory, and based on continuous improvement.
