Aims and Objectives

Aim

To educate physicians who use universal and up-to-date medical knowledge for the benefit of society, are committed to ethical values, responsible, capable of critical thinking, and respectful of human rights.

Education

Research

  • Aim: To provide a transparent, participatory, and adaptive educational environment; to create a process where faculty members and students are integrated, share knowledge, and educate each other; thereby supporting a learning environment that progresses and develops collaboratively.
  • Aim: To educate physicians who improve public health, contribute to science, conduct high-quality and sustainable research, and become leaders in their fields by utilizing current educational and research facilities.
  • Objective: To achieve full horizontal, vertical, and spiral integration within the curriculum.
  • Objective: To train physicians who understand scientific research methods and can apply them as needed.
  • Objective: To align the curriculum with the National Qualifications and Competency Framework.
  • Objective: To train physicians who can critically evaluate the literature, filter out misinformation based on evidence, and are scientifically literate.
  • Objective: To link the curriculum with the National Core Curriculum for Medicine.
  • Objective: To train physicians who can identify, analyze, and solve problems.
  • Objective: To prioritize student-centered learning methods within the program.

 

  • Objective: To encourage activities and events that support the social development of students.

 

  • Objective: To develop the curriculum with the broad participation of the Faculty of Medicine academic staff.

 

Service

  • Aim: To educate physicians who are aware of and sensitive to the health priorities of society, who prioritize patient safety and service quality, and who become centers of excellence and reference both nationally and internationally.
  • Objective: To train physicians who know and respect patient rights.
  • Objective: To train physicians who understand medical ethics and apply them in all areas of life.
  • Objective: To train physicians who can establish productive, developmental, and sustainable social relationships with society and their patients.
  • Objective: To train physicians who prioritize evidence-based practices in medical practice.
  • Objective: To train physicians who are knowledgeable in and practice deontology.
  • Objective: To train physicians who adopt the protection of public health as a primary goal and who can act as practitioners, team members, and leaders in preventive medicine practices.
