Student admission, recognition, and transfer processes for the Child Development Undergraduate Program are conducted in accordance with the relevant national legislation and the regulations of Istanbul Aydın University. Turkish citizens are admitted to the program based on their results in the Higher Education Institutions Examination administered by the Measuring, Selection and Placement Center, in line with the score type specified in the relevant year’s YKS Guide. In addition, student admission to the program is also carried out through inter-institutional horizontal transfer, vertical transfer from associate degree programs, and Erasmus student mobility. The admission of international students to the program is based on the evaluation of their direct applications to the university. Horizontal and vertical transfer procedures are carried out in accordance with the Regulation on Transfers Between Associate and Undergraduate Programs, Double Major and Minor Programs, and Inter-Institutional Credit Transfer, as well as the Istanbul Aydın University Horizontal Transfer Directive and the Exemption and Adaptation Principles. Courses taken and credits earned at other higher education institutions or in different academic programs are evaluated by the Exemption and Adaptation Commission of the Child Development Undergraduate Program. In cases where the course content and credit load are deemed compatible with the program curriculum, exemption and adaptation procedures are carried out accordingly. Applications for horizontal and vertical transfer are submitted through the University Information System (UBIS) and are finalized following the evaluation of the relevant commission and the approval of the Faculty Administrative Board.
