General Information

The aim of the program is to prepare children for the future through age-appropriate and developmentally suitable educational programs that enable them to adapt to their environment. It also aims to promote the holistic development of children in line with the demands of the era, and to train child development specialists who can identify risk factors starting from prenatal stages, determine preventive approaches for at-risk children, and raise awareness among parents.

Career Opportunities:

Our graduates work as academics at universities; in Special Education Institutions and Guidance and Research Centers under the Ministry of National Education; in Children and Youth Centers; in the Directorate General of Child Services under the Ministry of Family and Social Policies; in Children's Homes under the Directorate General of Child Services; in Family Counseling Centers under the Directorate General of Family and Social Policies; in Protection, Care, and Rehabilitation Centers; in the General Directorate of Security, Child Branch Office; in the preparation and implementation of children's-youth and educational programs on radio and television; in children's theaters and films; in the preparation of publications such as books, magazines, and newspapers for children; in educational toy production; at UNICEF, ILO, and voluntary organizations; and as specialists, consultants, founders, administrators, and inspectors in Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs).
