İstanbul Aydın University Department of Nutrition and Dietetics (English) adopts a student-centered educational approach that integrates the theoretical foundations of nutrition science with practice and research through its undergraduate and graduate programs. The Undergraduate Program in Nutrition and Dietetics aims to train dietitians who are capable of planning, implementing, and evaluating nutrition services for the protection and improvement of individual and public health, as well as for disease prevention. The curriculum is structured to encompass basic nutrition sciences, clinical nutrition, community nutrition, and professional practice.
In addition to the undergraduate program, the Department offers Master's programs in Nutrition and Dietetics (with thesis), Nutrition and Dietetics (non-thesis), Sports Nutrition (with thesis), and Sports Nutrition (non-thesis), as well as a PhD Program in Nutrition and Dietetics.
The Department's educational approach is implemented in alignment with national and international quality assurance frameworks.
