Admission, recognition, and transfer procedures of the Nutrition and Dietetics Program are carried out in accordance with relevant national regulations and the institutional policies of Istanbul Aydın University. Turkish students are admitted to the program based on their scores in the Quantitative track of the Higher Education Institutions Examination (YKS), administered by the Student Selection and Placement Center (ÖSYM). In addition, students may be admitted through inter-institutional horizontal transfer, vertical transfer from associate degree programs, and Erasmus student mobility. International students are admitted to the program following the evaluation of their direct applications to the university.

Horizontal and vertical transfer procedures are conducted in line with the Regulation on Transfer Between Associate and Undergraduate Programs, Double Major, Minor, and Inter-Institutional Credit Transfer, the Istanbul Aydın University Horizontal Transfer Directive, and the Exemption and Adaptation Principles. Courses and credits previously completed in other programs or higher education institutions are evaluated by the Exemption and Adaptation Commission of the Nutrition and Dietetics Program. If the course content and credit load are deemed compatible with the program curriculum, exemption and adaptation decisions are implemented accordingly.

Applications for horizontal and vertical transfers are submitted through the University Information System (UBIS), and the exemption and adaptation processes are finalized following the evaluation of the relevant commission and the approval of the Faculty Board. Recognition of prior learning and credit transfer practices are conducted in accordance with the principles of transparency, fairness, and academic coherence, aiming to ensure continuity and effective planning of students' educational pathways.
