Developments such as digitalization, the restructuring of global value chains, artificial intelligence, financial technologies (fintech), sustainability, and the green economy are continually enhancing the strategic importance of international trade within the global economy. In this dynamic environment, individuals seeking a career in international trade must possess not only a solid theoretical foundation but also strong multilingual communication skills, advanced analytical thinking abilities, and practical problem-solving competencies. The field of International Trade and Finance is inherently interdisciplinary, taking a holistic approach to global economics, international business, foreign trade, logistics, customs, finance, and investment decision-making. The Department of International Trade and Finance at Istanbul Aydın University combines a distinguished academic staff comprised of scholars from diverse disciplines who have international experience and maintain strong connections with professional practice. Our department's primary objective is to educate dynamic individuals who are well-prepared for global competition by enhancing academic knowledge with innovative thinking skills, digital competencies, and practice-oriented learning outcomes.
