Academic staff are responsible for the preparation and continuous updating of the curriculum in line with the program educational objectives and program learning outcomes, the delivery of courses, the planning of measurement and evaluation processes, and the monitoring of student achievement. In the Department of International Trade and Finance (English), academic staff are employed in the positions of one professor, two assistant professors (Dr.), and two research assistants, and this diversity of academic ranks supports the department’s academic quality and the effectiveness of teaching and learning processes. Courses are delivered by instructors who are competent in their respective fields and possess appropriate academic qualifications, thereby ensuring alignment between course content and program learning outcomes.
Academic staff take an active role in quality assurance and continuous improvement processes. Through department and faculty boards, course achievement analyses, student feedback, the level of attainment of program outcomes, and curriculum coherence are regularly evaluated. Based on these evaluations, decisions are made regarding updates to course content, improvements in teaching methods, and enhancements to assessment and evaluation practices. Academic advising is among the core responsibilities of the faculty members involved in the program. Students are guided on course selection, academic progress, graduation requirements, and career planning, thereby supporting their successful and timely completion of the program.
Academic staff contribute to the Department of International Trade and Finance (English) through research activities, professional development efforts, and interaction with external stakeholders. These contributions ensure that the curriculum is kept up to date in line with current developments in the field of business, contemporary management practices, and global academic standards. The scientific research and professional experience of the academic staff are directly reflected in teaching and learning processes, thereby strengthening the program’s academic depth and practical relevance.
In addition to its academic structure, the Undergraduate Program in International Trade and Finance (English) offers students a holistic education and support ecosystem through strong collaboration with the university’s administrative units. The Erasmus Exchange Office encourages student participation in international mobility programs, contributing to the development of their intercultural competencies and academic perspectives. The Career Center supports students’ preparation for post-graduation employment through internship and employment opportunities, career days, employer meetings, and career counseling services. The Student Affairs Office ensures the smooth administration of registration, course selection, graduation, and academic procedures, providing timely solutions to issues students may encounter in administrative processes. The Financial Affairs Office ensures that tuition fees, scholarships, and payment processes are conducted transparently and systematically, enabling students to navigate financial matters with confidence. The faculty secretariat facilitates academic–administrative coordination, contributing to effective communication among students, academic staff, and university administration. Continuous and coordinated collaboration with these administrative units strengthens the sustainability of the program and enhances the quality of the student experience.
