The Political Science and International Relations (Turkish) Program at Istanbul Aydin University is delivered by a competent and well-balanced academic staff. The number and qualifications of the faculty members are planned in alignment with the department's teaching, learning, and research objectives. The staff structure—comprising faculty members with diverse academic ranks—supports academic productivity while also strengthening student–faculty interaction.

The department currently includes 2 Professors, 2 Associate Professors, 5 Assistant Professors, 1 Research Assistant with a PhD, and 3 Research Assistants.
