Welcome to the Political Science and International Relations Program at Istanbul Aydin University.

The Political Science and International Relations Program adopts a contemporary and interdisciplinary educational approach aimed at understanding and analyzing the interactions among states and societies at the global, regional, and local levels. The undergraduate curriculum covers core fields such as political theory, comparative politics, and international relations. Through this structure, our department equips students with both theoretical knowledge and practical skills that enable them to be effective at national and international platforms.

Following undergraduate education, students who wish to continue their academic development are offered comprehensive graduate-level opportunities through master's and doctoral programs. The presence of a diverse body of international students at both undergraduate and graduate levels fosters intercultural interaction and contributes to a rich and dynamic academic environment within our university.

The primary objective of our program is to educate graduates who possess a solid theoretical foundation in Political Science and International Relations, have developed practice-oriented skills, and demonstrate strong critical and analytical thinking abilities. In this regard, On-Site Practice courses and field studies integrated into the program allow students to connect theoretical knowledge with real-world applications.
