Accreditations

Our programme follows a determined roadmap to certify the quality of education in line with national and international standards. As a result of this strategic vision, the programme successfully completed the Institutional Accreditation Report (KAR) processes prepared within the framework of the 5 main criteria, 22 criteria, and 56 sub-criteria defined by the Turkish Higher Education Quality Council (YÖKAK), thereby obtaining accredited status.

Within the scope of the online preliminary visit in 2021 and the on-site evaluation visits in 2022, the institution's strategic plans, performance indicator reports, and internal evaluation processes were meticulously reviewed by the YÖKAK Evaluation Team; and the institutional quality maturity level was formally validated based on interviews conducted with the university management, external stakeholders, and students. This validation signifies the up-to-dateness of our curriculum and the full compliance of our institutional governance processes with national higher education norms.

In this context, the Political Science and International Relations (TR) programme has been structured in alignment with the Turkish Qualifications Framework for Higher Education (TYÇÇ); and the programme learning outcomes have been mapped onto the knowledge, skills, and competence dimensions of the TYÇÇ. Course learning outcomes and assessment–evaluation processes have been designed according to a transparent and traceable approach grounded in the TYÇÇ, thereby supporting the national and international recognition of graduates.
