Students

In the Business Management (Turkish) Program, students are regarded as the main stakeholders of the program and are actively involved in decision-making, monitoring, and continuous improvement processes. The program is implemented through a participatory management approach that is based on continuous, multi-channel, and direct communication with students. To ensure fast and effective communication with students, WhatsApp communication groups are established, and students’ academic, administrative, and social inquiries are responded to instantly. In this way, problems encountered by students are addressed without delay and solution processes are initiated promptly. Within the scope of the program, an International Student Representation system is in place to monitor the needs of international students. Representatives convey the academic and administrative issues and requests of international students to the faculty administration. At each class level, class representatives elected through democratic procedures serve as the official communication channel conveying students’ collective academic and administrative demands to the faculty administration. In order to support the adaptation process of newly admitted students, a mentoring program is implemented. Senior students provide guidance to first-year students on academic procedures, course selection, campus life, and university culture. To monitor the quality of teaching, a classroom academic observation system is conducted. Classroom visits are carried out by academic staff, and the findings are evaluated within the framework of quality assurance and continuous improvement processes. In addition, regular student meetings are held by the Rectorate Student Representation Office and the Dean’s Office to monitor student satisfaction and to implement a continuous improvement approach at the institutional level. Through these structures, students are positioned not only as recipients of education, but also as active stakeholders contributing to the development of the program.
