Admission, recognition, and transfer processes in the Business Management (English) Undergraduate Program are carried out in accordance with Higher Education Law No. 2547, relevant regulations, and the directives approved by the Senate of Istanbul Aydin University. All procedures are conducted on the basis of transparency, traceability, and academic equivalency.

Horizontal transfers are implemented in three forms: internal transfers, inter-institutional transfers, and transfers based on the central placement score (Additional Article 1). Applications are accepted in line with the academic calendars announced for the fall and spring semesters of each academic year. Applicants are evaluated by taking into account their cumulative grade point average, central placement score, the base score of the program applied for, and quota availability. Horizontal transfer applications and results are processed and announced through the University Information System (UBIS).

The prior learning of students admitted through vertical transfer is evaluated by the relevant academic commissions based on course content, credit, and ECTS workload. Exemption and course adaptation procedures are applied for courses deemed appropriate, and the student's academic progression is structured through an individualized course plan.

Course exemption and adaptation procedures are carried out within the framework of the "Exemption and Adaptation Directive." Courses previously completed successfully by students are assessed in terms of content, credit value, and learning outcomes, and exemptions are granted for courses whose equivalency is approved. Exempted courses are recorded on the student's transcript and included in the calculation of the cumulative grade point average.

The recognition of prior learning is based on the documentation of knowledge and skills acquired through formal, non-formal, or informal learning. Evaluations conducted within this scope are decided by the relevant academic boards in accordance with the principles and procedures governing the recognition of acquired qualifications.

All admission, recognition, and transfer processes are regularly monitored and evaluated within the scope of the quality assurance system and are updated through continuous improvement activities when deemed necessary.
