Assoc. Dr. EMRAH TUNCAY ÖZDEMİR
He was born in 1970, Assoc. Dr. Emrah Tuncay ÖZDEMİR graduated from Istanbul Technical University Physics Engineering undergraduate program in 1993. He is an Associate Professor who continues his academic life in the Meteorological Engineering doctoral program of Istanbul Technical University. Dr. ÖZDEMİR graduated in 2016. our lecturer, who received the title of Doctor in 2016, received the title of Associate Professor in 2020. Our lecturer, who has academic studies in the field of Meteorology in the journals indexed in the most internationally accepted SSCI and Scopus currently continues to work in the General Directorate of Meteorology. ÖZDEMİR, who has also carried out many projects in the field of meteorology, has been working in Istanbul Aydın University Aviation Management (Eng.) he teaches Meteorology at the our department.
LECTURER CAFER ÇELİK
Lecturer Cafer Çelik was born in 1952 in Istanbul. He graduated from Marmara University - Economics and Commercial Sciences - Finance in 1976. He has a very good command of English. After he took Air Traffic Control and Basic ATC (Ait Traffic Control) trainings in Cyprus and Sarajevo, he worked at DHMI (General Directorate Of State Airports Authority), AHL (Air Traffic Control Center) as a Training Chief, Air Traffic Control and manager. He still has given training to pilots students and dispatchers at THY Flight Academy. Lecturer Çelik, who started to teach in the department in 2018, mainly give compulsory and elective courses of our department such as Air Traffic Control and Human Factors for Aviation.
DR. İBRAHİM YILDIRIM
Lecturer İbrahim Yıldırım was born in 1964. He graduated from the Istanbul Technical University, Department of Mechanical Engineering in 1986. Subsequently, he completed his graduate studies at the New York Institute of Technology. He completed his doctorate degree in Istanbul Aydın University, Business Administration programme. He has a very good command of English. He worked in many companies and duties such as Ekinciler Holding (Construction Site Mechanical Engineer), Vakko- New York (Production Coordinator), EK Imports- New York (General Manager), Private Foreign Trade Firm (General Manager), Consulting services (Domestic and International), Vakıf Financial Renting (Member of the Board of Directors), Turyap Headquarters (Business Development Coordinator), Syska & Hennesy of New York (Consultant), Suntility Solar Energy- Germany (Consultant). He has continued his main duty at Istanbul Provincial Directorate / Ministry of Technology and Industry. He is a member of the board of directors of many non-governmental organizations. He has many conference exceriences about the government and Turkey since 2002. He has continue to give conferences about Turket to high school, university and graduate students, clergy, politicians and businessmen from abroad. Mr. Yıldırım, who started his job in Istanbul Aydın University as a lecturer in 2018 and mainly gives Ground Services and Rules of Aviation courses.
LECTURER DR. FATMA ELİF DEMİRHAN
Lecturer Fatma Elif Demirhan was born in 1966. She graduated from Istanbul Technical University, Department of Environmental Engineering in 1987. She completed her master's and doctorate degree in field of Management Engineering from Istanbul Technical University. Moreover, she has a master's degree in Air Transportation Management from Istanbul Technical University. She has a very good command of English. After she continued her main duty in the Finance Department of Turkish Airlines between 1994-2019, she has retired. She has started her job in Istanbul Aydın University as a lecturer in the department of aviation management in 2020. Dr. Demirhan mainly gives compulsory and elective courses of department such as Financial Management for Civil Industry, Airline Management, Aviation English and Airline Network Planning.
LECTURER DR. GÜRBÜZ AKHAN BOLAT
Dr. Gürbüz Akhan Bolat was born in Ankara. He graduated from Police Academy and did his internship at Mersin Police Department. Subsequently, he has master's and P.hD. degree at Police Academy. Among the institutions he works for are prestigious organizations such as the Kuwait Turkish Embassy, the UN Haiti Peacekeeping Force and Turkish Airlines. He has still worked at Turkish Airline. Dr. Bolat has given the Security Management in Aviation course in aviation department. Furthermore, he has published a book named "İnsan Ticareti Töresi - Berdel (Human Trafficking Custom - Berdel)" which is derived from his P.hD. thesis.
