The primary mission of the Primary School Teacher Education Department is to educate teachers who will enable primary education students to acquire the fundamental knowledge, skills, and attitudes required for social life.  In the Primary School Teacher Education Program, in addition to courses that provide knowledge and teaching competencies in mathematics, science, social studies, life studies, Turkish, music, visual arts, and physical education, courses such as child psychology, children’s literature, human rights, guidance and counseling, measurement and evaluation, teaching methods and techniques, and classroom management are also offered.
