Aydın TÖMER teaches Turkish to our students within the framework of the communicative model. In this context, the goal is not to teach students a grammar-focused language, but rather to teach them a communicative language that allows them to actively use Turkish in their daily lives. In this language teaching process, equal emphasis is placed on students' listening, reading, speaking, and writing skills, and lessons are planned considering the relevant competencies within the context of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages. In addition, grammar is taught implicitly, rather than directly. In measurement and assessment, an important part of language teaching, exams are designed based on the four basic language skills. In these exams, students' grammar knowledge is assessed indirectly, not directly, through writing and speaking exams. Furthermore, speaking and writing clubs are organized in addition to lessons to develop students' expressive skills, and students are given various activities to help them use Turkish correctly, fluently, and effectively.
