Joint Project with the Presidency for Turks Abroad and Related Communities (YTB)

A joint project is being carried out with the Presidency for Turks Abroad and Related Communities (YTB). As of the 2013–2014 academic year, Türkiye Scholarships recipients referred by YTB have been receiving Turkish-language education within our university. Under the YTB project, advanced Turkish education at A1, A2, B1, B2, and C1 levels was provided to a total of 2,400 Syrian youth in courses organized in Istanbul, Mersin, Hatay, Gaziantep, Şanlıurfa, Kahramanmaraş, and Osmaniye.

Turkish Courses with the International Blue Crescent Relief and Development Foundation

Turkish courses were organized in cooperation with the International Blue Crescent Relief and Development Foundation (IBC). Under the protocol signed with IBC, Turkish-language education at various levels was provided on our University Campus to 1,939 Syrian youth in 2016–2019 and to 635 Syrian youth in the 2022–2023 academic year. Considering the adaptation of high school students to Türkiye, the project was supported by various social and cultural activities.

Turkish Lessons in Romania

Between 14.03.2017 and 12.04.2017, Turkish lessons were conducted at Dimitrie Cantemir University in Romania by Aydın TÖMER instructor Ömer Faruk Işık. The classes, which drew great interest, also placed particular emphasis on cultural exchange.
