Purpose and Content

The aim of the course Presentation of topics related to the profession of optometry, including laws, regulations, deontology, professional history, and development; presentation of all professional arguments (prescriptions, lenses, frames, etc.); presentation of basic information; theoretical definition of laboratory tools and equipment.
Course Content All technical information regarding the practice of the optician profession, the history of opticianry, and an assessment of the educational situation worldwide, professional definitions, a brief explanation of eye anatomy and eye defects, and the transfer of basic information about all materials and machines used in the optician profession.
