Purpose and Content

The aim of the course To give the students the basic concepts and principles of physics in detail. To provide an understanding of the basics and concepts with real-world applications. Demonstrate the role of physics on other disciplines with practical examples.

1Properties of matter: Chemical elements, structure of atoms, molecules, chemical compounds;
2Conditions of matter: solid, liquid and gas; changes between states.
3Static; Forces, moments and pairs, vector representations; Center of gravity. Basic principles of stress, buckling and elasticity: stress, compression, shear and torsion;
4Types and properties of solids, liquids and gases; Pressure and lifting force in liquids (barometers).
5Kinetics; Linear motion: smooth motion on a straight line, motion with constant acceleration (motion under gravity);
6Rotary motion: smooth circular motion (centrifugal / centripetal forces);
7Periodic motion: harmonic (pendulum) movement
8Simple vibration theory, harmonics and resonance; Speed ​​ratios, mechanical advantage and efficiency.
