Purpose and Content

The aim of the course	Tearching literature, laboratory and market search methods for determination and development of working subject by using all courses and experience on internship and work placement about biomedical engineering; designing and operating the project by using all courses and experience on internship and work placement; the evaluation of the results and the conversion of results to report, publication/thesis/presentation; the cooperation with academic and industry are all targets of this course.
Course Content	Literature, laboratory and sector search techniques for the determination of the subject; designing and operating of laboratory experiments, results evaluation, report writing and presentation, thesis writing and presentation, techniques for writing paper were the contents of this course.

Course Content

Literature, laboratory and sector search techniques for the determination of the subject; designing and operating of laboratory experiments, results evaluation, report writing and presentation, thesis writing and presentation, techniques for writing paper were the contents of this course.

Learning Outcomes

Adequate knowledge in mathematics, physical sciences and the biomedical engineering subjects of individual branches; the ability to implement theoretical and practical knowledge in the respective areas to modeling and solving computer engineering problems.
Ability to identify, define, formulate and solve complex engineering problems in biomedical engineering; ability to select and implement the appropriate analysis and modeling methods in this respect.
Ability to use, choose and develop modern techniques and means required for analyzing and solving the complex problems in biomedical engineering applications; ability to use information technologies effectively.
Ability to design a complex system, process, device or product to meet specific requirements under realistic restrictions and conditions; ability to implement the modern design methods for this purpose.
Ability to design experiments for analysing biomedical engineering problems, to conduct experiments, to collect data, to analyse and interpret the results.
Ability to apply engineering principles and methods to medical problems, to develop creative solutions.
Ability to work effectively in interdisciplinary and multi-disciplinary teams and individual works.
Knowledge of applications in business life like project management, risk management and change management; awareness about entrepreneurship, innovativeness and sustainable development.
Ability to identify, define, formulate and solve complex engineering problems in biomedical engineering; ability to select and implement the appropriate analysis and modeling methods in this respect.

Ability to follow developments in disciplines related to biomedical engineering; Ability to ensure self-renewal perpetually in the theoretical, practical and social areas.
Ability to communicate efficiently both in oral and written ways in Turkish; knowledge of at least one foreign language; ability to effectively prepare reports and understand written reports, prepare design and production reports, effective presentation, giving and receiving clear and understandable instructions.
Ability to use common scientific and social language in engineering and health care fields.
Behaving in accordance with ethical principles in the field of biomedical engineering, professional and ethical responsibility awareness;knowledge on the standards of engineering applications.
Information about the effects of engineering applications on health, environment and safety in terms of universal and social aspects and information about the problems of the era; awareness about the legal results of biomedical engineering solutions.
Ability to use common scientific and social language in engineering and health care fields.

1	The formation of general literature search and questioning platform for the determination of project subject
2	The determination of project subject and the presentation of the projects' offer report
3	The confirmation of projects' subject according to the presented report.
4	Literature search related subject.
5	The determination of experimental design and experimental procedure as a result of literature search about related search.
6	The operation of experimental work
7	The operation of experimental work
8	The progress report of project, mid-evaluation
9	The determination of possible deficiencies occured during project and the identification of possible measures, making new designs in the view of datas
10	The start of calculation and making simulation for problem
11	The maturation of solutions for problem.
12	Making the necessary calculations, technical report writing
13	Finalisation of teorical design based on reseach and simulations with the system components
14	Project final report, its' presentation and the publication/thesis studies
