Purpose and Content

The aim of the course	The aim of the course is to teach basic information about the collection of signals from body, the conversion of these signals to more clear and distinct, and the interpretations of them.
Course Content	Discrete-time signals and systems; Repeat of Z-conversion; Discrete-time Fourier transform; Other linear transformations; Discrete time cosine transform; Discrete sinus transform time; Hartleys, Hilberts transformations; Walshs, Hadamarts transformations ; Digital filters; Multiple signal processing; Time-frequency display

Learning Outcomes

Adequate knowledge in mathematics, physical sciences and the biomedical engineering subjects of individual branches; the ability to implement theoretical and practical knowledge in the respective areas to modeling and solving computer engineering problems.
Ability to identify, define, formulate and solve complex engineering problems in biomedical engineering; ability to select and implement the appropriate analysis and modeling methods in this respect.
Ability to use, choose and develop modern techniques and means required for analyzing and solving the complex problems in biomedical engineering applications; ability to use information technologies effectively.
Ability to design a complex system, process, device or product to meet specific requirements under realistic restrictions and conditions; ability to implement the modern design methods for this purpose.
Ability to design experiments for analysing biomedical engineering problems, to conduct experiments, to collect data, to analyse and interpret the results.
Ability to apply engineering principles and methods to medical problems, to develop creative solutions.
Ability to work effectively in interdisciplinary and multi-disciplinary teams and individual works.
Knowledge of applications in business life like project management, risk management and change management; awareness about entrepreneurship, innovativeness and sustainable development.
