Purpose and Content

The aim of the course	The aim is to teach how to make adaptation, use and design of computer programs at medicine/health, treatment and monitorizing namely bioinformatics.
Course Content	Medical informatic patient data; Curve fitting for medical data and interpolation; Medical signals collection, storage, analysis; Medical signals collection, storage, analysis; The reliability of information systems; The research in biomedical engineering such as the disciplines medicine, pharmacology and genetics and the sorftwares used for analysis and MATLAB applications; Algorithms, data base and simulation development techniques.

The aim of the course

Learning Outcomes

Adequate knowledge in mathematics, physical sciences and the biomedical engineering subjects of individual branches; the ability to implement theoretical and practical knowledge in the respective areas to modeling and solving computer engineering problems.
Ability to identify, define, formulate and solve complex engineering problems in biomedical engineering; ability to select and implement the appropriate analysis and modeling methods in this respect.
Ability to use, choose and develop modern techniques and means required for analyzing and solving the complex problems in biomedical engineering applications; ability to use information technologies effectively.
Ability to design a complex system, process, device or product to meet specific requirements under realistic restrictions and conditions; ability to implement the modern design methods for this purpose.
Ability to design experiments for analysing biomedical engineering problems, to conduct experiments, to collect data, to analyse and interpret the results.
Ability to apply engineering principles and methods to medical problems, to develop creative solutions.
Ability to work effectively in interdisciplinary and multi-disciplinary teams and individual works.
Knowledge of applications in business life like project management, risk management and change management; awareness about entrepreneurship, innovativeness and sustainable development.
Ability to identify, define, formulate and solve complex engineering problems in biomedical engineering; ability to select and implement the appropriate analysis and modeling methods in this respect.
